Today has been so intense. The promotional video my husband and I have been working on is almost finished. We have been compiling footage from school, cycling, my students and me for several weeks and started learning how to use the editing software over Thanksgiving break. Wow, is it complicated! Tonight, a friend came by and helped me reduce the length from 5 minutes to about 2 1/2. Just need to add a few more effects and music and it will be ready to send out and post on YouTube.
Plus, -- my donation link just went up on the Edmonds Public Schools Foundation website.
-- Tomorrow, there should be a small brief in the Weekly Herald too.
-- And I met with a local graphic designer about creating a basic logo to print on stickers, t-shirts, postcards, etc.

First Post -- November 14, 2011
So, I've decided to begin. I have so many ideas and thoughts, pages and pages of notes and scribbles about this trip that it seems only logical to publish as I go. To chronicle the mis/adventures of this project and give me insight on my process, to see how it unfolds. Instead of simply recounting to friends and family my joys and frustrations, now the whole world can experience it too.
